Elite performance and rehabilitation center is dedicated to giving back to our community.  It is through a variety of outreach programs that we fulfill this mission.  Elite provides certified athletic trainers and licensed physical therapists to numerous community athletic functions, club sports programs, and on-campus sports programs at the high school and college levels.

• HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMS

• Bishop Diego High School

We have provided on-site Certified Athletic Trainers at Bishop Diego High School since the summer of 2004.  The injury reduction programming which includes: strength and conditioning routines, proper equipment fitting, facility upgrades, and most importantly early injury assessment and intervention, have equated to more participation time for each student athlete.  We have recruited Dr. William Gallivan to serve as team orthopedist which solidifies the team approach to providing care to Bishop athletes, staff, and families.

• Laguna Blanca High School

We have maintained a relationship with Laguna Blanca School since the inception of Elite as a facility.  Our on-site ATC’s have been integral to the success of the athletic programs in both boy’s and girl’s sports over many years.  The athletes have come to rely on our expertise in injury recognition, prevention programming, and therapeutic treatments and value the personal relationship with our staff.  We have recruited Dr. Anthony Romero to serve as team orthopedist.

• COLLEGE PROGRAMS
• Santa Barbara City College

Elite Rehabilitation serves as a resource to all athletic programs in providing support to medical staff and coaching staff of SBCC.  We have partnered with Sue Houlihan Davis and Dr. Victor Tacconelli to provide rehabilitation services, strength and conditioning programming and injury reduction strategies since our inception as a clinic in 2002.  We are currently researching the effectiveness of our injury reduction programming.  Through a partnership with Cal State Northridge University’s exercise science department we hope to publish our findings in the near future.  The coaching staff, medical staff, and administration of SBCC strongly believe in and are committed to the values and capabilities of the Elite Performance and Rehabilitation Center.
